The Brief

Wild PR was appointed by Opus 4 in March 2022 to implement a three-month PR strategy to raise online visibility and increase traffic to the website, subsequently driving lead generation.

To raise the profile of the brand, we focused our efforts on securing high authority linking coverage and brand mentions from key media verticals through a variety of PR tactics, including press office monitoring, digital PR campaigns and PR mailers.

The Results

By achieving a range of linking coverage in target business and industry publications, as well as developing supporting onsite content, we saw overall traffic to the website increase by 25% and sessions by 41%. Page views also increased by 55%, and contact form goal conversions increased by 150%. We also saw improvements in the average session duration (25%) and bounce rate (-6%). 

In particular, users via referral traffic improved by 69%, and sessions via organic traffic improved by 71%. Organic traffic also saw fantastic improvements, with a 45% increase in organic users and 58% increase in organic sessions. 

Campaign-related blog content, such as ‘Office design experts rate fictional office spaces of most popular TV shows’ generated 70 entrances in total with an average session duration of 2 minutes and 21 seconds and a total of 97 page views between June and August 2022.

Following a range of digital PR campaigns and reactive press monitoring, we achieved over 20 pieces of coverage in total across regional, industry and business publications, supporting increases across a range of metrics, including the number of keyword rankings from 856 to 1.1K (28.5%), number of backlinks (+23.5%), and domain authority rising from 26 to 28.

Campaign highlights include UK’s top ten best areas to invest in office space, How productive would The Office and other iconic TV office sets be in real life and Innovative hospice invests in Drop-in Centre for palliative care.

Coverage highlights include Design Insider (DA: 37), Designerati (DA: 22), HR News (DA: 52), Daily Advent (DA: 51), Business Money (DA: 38), InYourArea.co.uk (DA: 72), Office Equipment News (DA: 23).

The percentage of keyword positioning in the top ten increased by 22%, with Opus 4 now ranking on the first page of Google for search terms, including “opus design” at 5, “office design and fit out” at 7, “architects office fit out” at 7, “office fit out expert” at 8 and “design fit out” at 9.

We also saw other fantastic new and improved industry keywords, including ‘office fit-outs’ at 25 (+41), ‘fitout companies’ at 26 (+13), ‘office design and fit out’ at 7 (+47) and  ‘office interior fit out’ 25 (new).
