Acumentice appointed Wild PR in September 2022 to support them with a Digital PR strategy, grow their online search presence and gain recognition across the UK. 

The Brief

About the client

London-based Healthcare Consultancy Acumentice has been advising, supporting and implementing systems to transform NHS Trusts since 2014. 

Acumentice’s expert team includes previous NHS senior management. The business offers services from waiting list validation, data modelling and digital transformation projects to support NHS waiting times and improve customer satisfaction. 


What were we tasked with? 

We were brought on board to support Acumentice’s PR strategy development and which included the creation of supporting SEO-focused on-site content. Our main KPIs were to increase brand awareness with key NHS audiences and to drive organic website traffic, online visibility and goal conversions. 


What did we do? 

Through the 14 months of working together, we worked collaboratively with the Acumentice team to develop a range of business announcements, data-led PR campaigns, advice-led PR mailers and SEO-optimised blog content.

Our data-led PR campaigns included ‘The UK regions with the most GP complaints’ and ‘The Future of Healthcare’. Our PR Mailers included relevant topics such as ‘Five data strategies to improve mental health waiting lists’ and ‘How has Covid-19 impacted the NHS?’. 

As the brand continued to grow, we supported brand awareness with a range of  business appointment press releases to promote ongoing growth and credibility, as well as to support recruitment. 

The Results

What results did we achieve? 


Overall, we gained 52 pieces of press coverage, with a combined readership of over 21 million, including a TV interview with London Live TV. We also built 21 new backlinks to the site through our PR activity and gained 12 direct PR referrals. 

PR coverage included niche industry titles such as Health Tech Digital, Global Health and Pharma Magazine, Laboratory News and Digital Health. We also gained authoritative national and regional coverage, including Yahoo, The Independent and Swindon Advertiser

Amongst the highest-performing blog content was ‘The Future of Healthcare’ landing page, resulting in 45 website users, 64 page views and over 180 events on-site since upload and generating new keywords such as ‘healthcare research survey’ (position 60). 

Looking into key website pages, we saw a significant increase in page views for the homepage (+395%) and the ‘About Us’ page (+106%) during our time together. The website also gained 200 new keyword positions (+197%), including 56 on the first page of Google. 

Our content helped to improve target keyword rankings, including ‘healthcare consultancy’ (position 3) and ‘healthcare management consultant’ (position 3). We also saw new rankings for mailer and campaign-specific keywords, including ‘waiting list validation’ (position 8), ‘demand for mental health services’, (position 13) and ‘rtt data validation’ (position 16). (Correct as of November 2023). 

During our time working together, we saw the website’s Domain Authority grow by four positions as we increased the authoritative on-site content, while website conversions grew by 150%. Overall, our PR and SEO activity supported a 74% increase in overall website traffic and a 60% increase in organic traffic. (July – September 2022 compared to August – October 2023).
