As we delve into our most recent monthly reports at the Wild HQ, we wanted to share some of our highlights from April.

From pricey properties, classic cars and mouldy make-up brushes, this month has certainly lived up to the wild name. You can check out some of our fantastic results across PR campaigns and social media below.

Digital PR

In order to strengthen a brand’s online visibility, we often recommend strategic digital PR campaigns to improve brand awareness, website Domain Authority (DA) and keyword positioning. Here are some of our favourite examples from this month:

Bramleys

In April, Bramleys was appointed to market a £1.2 million property with some of the best views in the West Yorkshire region! After being occupied by the previous owners for over three decades, Yorkshire property specialist Bramleys wanted to spread the word and find this home some new loyal owners.

Working with some of the regions most reputable journalists, we outreached an in-depth, descriptive press release that would make you fall in love with the home before even seeing the property. We also created a Hot Property feature on the Bramleys blog that could be followed by new eye-dropping properties in Huddersfield and surrounding areas.

The press release secured coverage in both Yorkshire Live and The Yorkshire Post property supplement and the blog was incredibly successful in referring visitors to the property listing.

Aventus Clinic

Warning: We wouldn’t recommend reading this on your lunch break!

Ever wondered how dirty your make up brushes are? Well, after this Aventus Clinic campaign, cleaning your brush will be on the top of your to-do list. The Wild team bravely looked into make-up tool cleanliness and found out just how much mould, fungus and bacteria we could be putting on our faces every day.

Despite the gross imagery, the campaign secured 30 pieces of coverage including target publications such as Daily Mail, The Sun and The Mirror. The campaign also gained international attention from New York Post and publications in Australia, France and Italy.

Content creation

At Wild, we have monthly WIP sessions where the whole team gets together to generate topic ideas for each of the brands we work with. This then leads to fresh and original written or visual content for PR campaigns, blogs, videos, infographics, and other formats.

specialist glass products

With summer fast approaching and a 23% increase in searches for the term ‘outdoor glass’, we created optimised blog content on how you can incorporate glass into your next garden makeover. With glass being such a versatile building material, we wanted to highlight both the environmental and visual benefits of using it in your outdoor spaces.

The content helped with driving traffic to the website and the optimised content assisted with keyword rankings. For example, SGP began ranking for ‘specialist glass’, ‘glass specialist’ and ‘specialist glass service’ last month and all three are already in the top two ranking positions.

BPI Auctions

Following the liquidation of a leading UK steel fabrication components supplier, BPI Auctions was approached by the business owners to oversee the auctioning of machinery, tools and equipment. The auction went live with over 400 separate lots and finished with 90% of the lots sold and a total sales value of over £90,000.

We created a case study highlighting the success of this auction for BPI and drafted supporting blog content to suggest how business owners in similar positions could sell their assets quickly and efficiently.

social media

With over 4.2 billion active social media users online (this has increased by 10% over the last 12-months!), business owners have an average of 2 hours and 25 minutes every single day to build brand awareness, develop customer relationships and increase sales via social media platforms. Here are some fantastic social media results we’ve seen from April:

ayre events

It’s not just Digital PR coverage rocketing; we have seen some fantastic social media results for event specialist, Ayre Event Solutions. In April, Ayre’s social media content focused on relevant awareness days, industry-specific topics and highlighting the services they can offer. The event specialist saw an increase in social reach across Facebook (+64%), Twitter (+19%) and Instagram (+21%). As well as a nearly 50% rise in engagement on Twitter and Instagram.

bramleys

Property specialist Bramleys have also seen some great improvements across social media this month. The brand’s Facebook platform alone gained 60 new followers and a further 14 followers across other social platforms. Instagram has seen an increase in both engagement (+73%) and reach (+32%). Social referrals to Bramleys have also increased by 24.92%.

Some of the most successful posts in April have been advice led content, providing help on how to get your home ready for the property market and advice for first-time buyers.

Wild updates

As well as all the amazing client results, Wild PR gained coverage in Prolific North, Yorkshire Business Daily and The Business Desk celebrating the news of two new members of the pack; Ella and Lydia!

And to celebrate the growth, we had a photoshoot to make sure we had some new team shots to update our website as well as new headshots of new members and updated shots for those who regularly change their hairstyles *cough* Kayleigh!

Two members of the team took a trip to Brighton last month to be a

part of industry-renowned Brighton SEO. Frankie and Mollie attended workshops on everything digital and gathered tips and tricks to bring back to the team. Of course, their trip could not be complete without a visit to the pier and arcades!

We rounded off the month in classic Wild PR style, with brainstorms and pizza. Fueled by Papa Johns, we shared some fantastic ideas for clients across all sectors including events, manufacturing, finance, hair and beauty.

We’re keeping all ideas under wraps for now but watch this space for our next campaign!
