Client overview:

Folk art and Witchcraft store, Wheel of Fate’s mission is to empower through instruction and provide access to craft tools. Wheel of Fate offers authentic and memorable crafting workshops such as broom making, bookbinding, and fibre arts, as well as selling art from local artists and workshop kits to make at home.

Tactics used:

We crafted a press release to align with the opening of Wheel of Fate’s new store. The release strategically highlighted key dates, the unique narrative behind the store opening, the reasons for choosing Edinburgh as the location, and other compelling details. We aimed to enhance brand awareness, boost online visibility, and drive foot traffic to the store. The press release was tailored for regional and national media, emphasising lifestyle, events, and industry-specific angles for a well-rounded approach.

Store launches are key moments for retail brands with a physical presence, and utilising traditional PR ensures targeted exposure and provides a widespread message across local communities. The press release we developed promoted the launch event and aimed to foster loyalty, positive relationships, and regional and industry-specific visibility and awareness.

This release targeted Edinburgh regional and industry titles, generating high-quality backlinks and increasing organic keyword rankings as a result.
