With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force in May 2018, now, more than any time before, it is important that marketers and business owners understand how to achieve the lawful, profitable and ethical use of personal data within the marketing function.

Delivered by Wild PR Managing Director, Katrina Cliffe, this session will provide you with a deeper understanding of how GDPR and the revised ePrivacy Regulations impact the success of lead generation and marketing campaigns.

What you will learn in this session:
  • An overview of GDPR: What is it and how will it affect your business
  • Data capture: Design data compliant forms
  • Data purchase/sale – what you can and can’t buy
  • Data security – protecting personal data and your reputation
  • Email, SMS and Direct Mail Campaigns – Increase opt-ins and reduce opt-outs
  • The difference between B2B and B2C
  • Privacy notices and terms and conditions

You will leave the workshop with an action list, helping you on your way to becoming GDPR compliant. Time will also be available at the end of the session for you to have time with Katrina to discuss your GDPR queries in more detail.
