Following on from our sponsorship of the Town Foundation’s sold-out annual Ladies Lunch, which was held earlier this month at the John Smiths Stadium, we are delighted to announce the event raised over £2500 for the charity.
In its fifth year, the event saw over 240 women from both the business and local community come together to support the organisations fundraising efforts which will enable the organisation to continue to improve the quality of life of young people across the Huddersfield and West Yorkshire region primarily through its Early Kick-Off Breakfast Clubs.
The event was once again hosted by international drag act, The Globe Girls who provided entertainment throughout the event supported by former X-Factor contestant and star of Fat Friends the Musical, Laura Mansell.
Julie Sheffield, Fundraising Manager at the Town Foundation commented: “I’d like to thank our event sponsor Wild PR, The Globe Girls and our other partners who enable us to put on another outstanding event. After last year’s success, it was wonderful to see so many new faces at this year’s event. Through this event and through these fundraising efforts it will enable us to continue delivering much-needed support within the area.”
