We are delighted to announce that Wild PR has been shortlisted in the Community category of the Examiner Business Awards.
The category recognises businesses in the Kirklees area with a conscience and a commitment to social responsibility, and who make a positive impact on the community.
Demonstrating multiple approaches to supporting both individuals and businesses in the local community, Wild PR has over the years run a number of placement initiatives welcoming students from local schools, colleges and has a strong relationship with the University of Huddersfield for which it has delivered a number of workshops to its students.
Wild PR was also the driving force behind Huddersfield Business Week which launched in 2019 to encourage local businesses to engage with each other in order to encourage businesses to work with other businesses in the area to improve overall prospects for the local economy.
On top of this, Wild PR actively supports a number of charitable initiatives, from offering pro bono support or heavily discounted services enabling vital services to access resources to help them to help others. Support this year has been provided to Conscious Youth CIC and Uniform Exchange, both of whom are Kirklees based organisations making a positive impact on the lives of young people in the area.
The awards, which take place on Thursday, March 24th at John Smiths Stadium, return after a two-year hiatus due to the covid pandemic.
Alongside Wild PR’s shortlist, we’ll be joining two of our clients, Fishtank Agency who are in the running for the Creative Impact and Specialist Glass Products who are in up for Business of the Year (Over 50 employees) Awards.
