Every month, we love to take a look back at some of our most showstopping digital PR campaigns, social media results and content creation. So let’s see what stood out to us from July: 

 

Digital PR

Digital PR is all about achieving brand mentions and backlinks for our clients from authoritative media outlets to support their keyword rankings and overall SEO performance. This can be through the creation of data-led digital PR campaigns, drafting business-news press releases or through dedicated press office activity. In July, the following PR content performed particularly well. 

 

Aventus Clinic

Alongside planned digital PR campaign activity, we also run a proactive and reactive press office for many of our clients including Aventus Clinic. In July, we were successful in reissuing a previous PR mailer which focused on the dangers of at-home cyst removal based on a media call out from a key trade publication. This resulted in print and online coverage for Aventus Clinic in the wishlist publication, Aesthetic Magazine which has a domain authority (DA) of 38 and a readership of 15,000. 

 

Heald

In July, we had a very successful month for our longstanding client Heald Ltd. Across the month, we drafted and outreached a number of business news-focused press releases for the organisation including the announcement of a new partnership with a local school and college for a new STEM challenge project. Across the month, the team achieved a huge 24 pieces of press coverage in regional and trade titles including Source Security, Yorkshire Times, Security Journal and Hull Chamber of Commerce

 

BPI Auctions

Ahead of the launch of part 2 of Stranger Things Season 4 coming out at the start of July, we reactively promoted a digital PR campaign we’ve been working on for our online asset disposal client BPI Auctions. The press release focused on the 1980s items Brits could have at home which might be worth a fortune. 

In total, the activity achieved 13 pieces of press coverage, including 11 links back to the BPI website and 11 pieces of A coverage (DA 50+)  including Wales Online, MSN Money, Belfast Live and Glasgow Live.

 

Opus4

To support our office design and fit-out specialist client, Opus 4 in July, we drafted a business-focused press release to announce their recent work with a palliative care hospice. The press release discussed the solutions and products the experts at Opus 4 fitted as part of the project and achieved a range of sector-specific and regional media coverage including Office Equipment News, News from Wales and Design Insider

 

Content Creation

At Wild PR, we also create bespoke SEO-optimised onsite content for our clients to support our ongoing PR efforts. This could include blogs and infographics. 

 

Fishtank Agency

To support keyword performance and overall SEO objectives for our client Fishtank Agency this month, we supported with the creation of some new onsite content offering expert advice for businesses. With the past two years and current inflation problems putting more pressure on businesses, Fishtank shared five ways companies can save costs online and the benefits digital marketing can have

 

Social Media

Social channels are still leading the way for customers to gain an understanding of how trustworthy brands are. A consistent social media strategy and tone of voice can support the development of customer relationships and help to increase sales. So what results did we see on social media for our clients in July: 

 

Propel Tech 

One of our newest clients is Wakefield-based software development company Propel Tech. As part of our ongoing remit, we’ve been supporting the brand with bespoke social media content creation and community engagement. 

In July, we saw particular success for Propel Tech on their LinkedIn channel which saw a huge 200% increase in followers, 250% increase in post impressions and 14% uplift in unique visitors visiting the page across the month. 

 

Uniform Exchange 

Another client we saw great success for on social media this month is Uniform Exchange. Through bespoke content creation, we support the business with callouts for donations and ongoing brand awareness. In July, we’ve seen some amazing results across Facebook including a 163% uplift in profile visits and a 520% increase in page likes. Engagement across the channel also saw some uplifts with organic engagement increasing by a huge 60% in July. 

 

Specialist Glass Products 

Another of our longstanding clients, Specialist Glass Products, had a particularly successful month on social media in July. We saw strong performances on not one but three platforms this month with a huge 310% increase in engagement on LinkedIn, 101% uplift in engagement on Twitter and +126% reach on Facebook. 

Each month for Specialist Glass Products, we create a calendar of bespoke social media content and supporting graphics to promote their services, recent case studies and products. In July, this led to 77 new followers on their LinkedIn page and a 184% uplift in reach on the page. 

 

Wild Updates

Alongside July being a fantastic month for client success, the Wild PR team have also been super busy! 

The Wild PR team was shortlisted for the Best Use of Content award at this year’s CIPR PRide Awards for our reactive PR campaign on behalf of our glass manufacturing client, Specialist Glass Products (SGP).

The PRide awards recognise the outstanding work and campaigns from the public relations industry over the last 12 months. Agencies and in-house teams are honoured, as well as campaign awards for specific sectors such as healthcare, travel and corporate.
