Sundays are known as rest days, but not for #TeamWild. On Sunday we headed to the Etihad Stadium and took part in the happiest 5K on the planet. Our aim was to raise funds for Tommy’s the Baby Charity in aid of Katrina’s son Casey who was born too soon in 2004. It is another step closer to reaching Katrina’s £10K target.We gathered at the start line in our pristine white outfits, headbands a go and glitter at the ready. However, our fresh look didn’t last for too long as we headed into 5 kilometres of colour explosion!
Each kilometre was marked with a burst of colour. We were head to toe rainbows by the time we reached the finish line! We then headed into the festival of colour where everyone celebrated completing the race by throwing paint powder in the air. The atmosphere in the crowd could only be described as electric & something that would more recognisable at a music festival and not at the end of a 5 kilometre race!

#TeamWild will be back next year to take part in The Color Run UK 2016.
