Publishing software developers Publish Interactive have signed a lease at Marshall’s Mill on The Round Foundry and Marshall’s Mill estate.
The deal sees a return home to the area for Publish Interactive, who were originally incubated in The Round Foundry Media Centre before moving to No. 1 Aire Street in 2015. Due to a need to expand, the business has taken 2,100 sq ft in Marshall’s Mill.
The Grade II restored mill complex, originally built by industrialist and MP John Marshall in the early 19th century, is now the centre of an innovative, creative, and digital business community in Leeds. The estate offers a range of amenities onsite and is just a few minutes’ walk from Leeds station.
Publish Interactive, founded in 2003, creators of the only publishing and monetisation platform for high value research, develop in house software uniquely dedicated to the research sector.
Mitali Mookerje, Managing Director at Publish Interactive commented: “To enable Publish Interactive to continue its growth and development, we moved to a new office in Marshall’s Mill. We decided to move to give us the space, environment, and infrastructure needed to continue our journey as a business and to make it easier for people to work for us – and with us.”
The letting was facilitated by Creative Space Management acting as joint agents with Knight Frank.
Paul Taylor of Creative Space Management commented, “It is fantastic to welcome Publish Interactive back to the area for the next stage of their growth story. The range of onsite independent pubs, cafes and restaurants has never been better and the refurbished suite they have moved into affords a wonderful working environment.”
