Wild PR has announced that it will be hosting a quiz night during Huddersfield Business Week with the aim of supporting young people to gain tech skills to prepare them for the future of work.
Hosted at Revolution Huddersfield on Thursday 3rd October from 6:30 pm, the Quiz Night will raise money to put at least four young people from the Huddersfield area through a video games development workshop during the October half term, hosted by Ocean Spark Studio.
Huddersfield Business Week has proved to be a hit so far, with almost 30 events submitted from companies across the town including Specialist Glass Products, Sheards Accountants, Connect China and Equilibrium Risk. Other organisations supporting the week include Huddersfield Town Football Club, Huddersfield Giants, Kirklees Council, the University of Huddersfield and 3M BIC.
Tickets for the quiz night which includes food are priced at £15 per person with a maximum of 4 per team.
As part of our fundraising, we will also be hosting a raffle prize, can you help us with donations? We have already received donations from a number of organisations who have kindly supported us, including Experience Days with a £50 voucher, Magic Rock Brewing with a £20 voucher and Tesco Huddersfield with a bundle of store items.
