Expert astrologer highlights the best names to choose according to your baby’s star sign
Following a 50% increase in searches for the term “astrology baby names” in the past 12 months1, eco-friendly nappy providers, The Nappy Gurus, delves into the best baby names according to astrology and share their recommendations for baby names based on star signs2.
Analysing recent ONS data⁴, The Nappy Gurus reveal the top astrology inspired baby names amongst Brits in 2020. For girls Ivy, Willow, Grace, Luna, Eleanor, Ayla and for boys, Leo and Luca all make the top 100 most popular names list.
Speaking with The Nappy Gurus, mystic and astrologer Inbaal Honigman believes gaining baby name inspiration from past generations can trend-proof a name choice and could inspire parents with names they might not be able to find elsewhere.

Aquarius – January 20 to February 18
Aquarians are known for their optimism and often have traits of self-reliance and intelligence. Suggested boy names to reflect this star sign include Michah, Conrad, Zephyr, Angus and Dominic. Aquarian girl names include Elenor, Aura, Verity and Alicia. Aura means’ soft breeze’, a perfect match for an Aquarius girl associated with the air element.
Pisces – February 19 to March 20
Pisces people, known for their inner strength and empathetic nature, suit names such as Austin, Calum, Solomon, Pax and Rahim if they are a boy. For a baby girl Pisces, Charisma, Margot, Felicity, Beatrice and Helena.
