We are delighted to be joining up with leading education law firm Wrigleys Solicitors to host a breakfast seminar providing insight on how to protect a school’s reputation. The event, which takes place on Tuesday 5th July will cover matters high on the agenda of educationalists – from social media, to press coverage and managing negative PR.

Ideal for members of senior leadership teams including business managers and trustees, the event seeks to address the legal and PR aspects of reputation management.

Wrigleys is a leading education law practice, with over 600 academy projects completed and adviser to over 200 schools. As a leader in their field, delegates can be sure the Wrigleys’ seminar will offer valuable insight into reputation management through learning how to confront and resolve publicity challenges.

Alongside Sue King, a solicitor in Wrigleys education team, Wild PR’s founder and managing director, Katrina Cliffe will discuss strategies for managing negative PR and implementing a crisis plan for such circumstances.

Sue King comments: “This is the first of several seminars planned for Wrigleys’ Schools Breakfast Club, an informal and friendly networking group for school leaders to share experiences on tricky topics that they have faced or are concerned about. We welcome Katrina and Wild PR to this seminar. Katrina is a super speaker with a wealth of experience of helping schools with practical tips to navigate their way through PR challenges.”

Katrina Cliffe added: “Having worked with a number of free schools since our foundation we have crossed many hurdles when it comes to managing public relations both offline and online. We are therefore delighted to be working alongside Wrigleys to help shed light to school leaders on not only how to maximise the positive aspects of their school, but how to avoid the pitfalls’.

The event will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Leeds between 8:30am and 10am. After the seminar, there will be the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and ask further questions. While the event is free to attend, places are limited. RSVP events@wrigleys.co.uk
